Has anyone successfully mount a GoPro inside their Bug using standard GoPro mounts?

Where has worked?

Thanks
Richard

I'd like to see dash/windscreen and then outside.  I'd at time have a passenger.  I have some of the self adhesive months and thought about putting on the passenger side window.

As long as no one wants to wind it up or down it will work well, I have even stuck it on vent window before, rear 1/4 window facing forward works to see dash etc as well as long as you don't have highback seat in way?

Thanks for the thoughts Richie.

I went out and purchased a suction mount, that way I can experiment with your suggested positions rather than be stuck with the one position I'd get using the adhesive mounts.

On a slightly related topic, Aldi have a Go Pro type camera in at the moment for cheap! It's a Maxtek Vision model, 4k, Wi-Fi, waterproof and even includes a 32GB memory card for £25!
We were in Aldi today and spotted it - my wife says I can have it as a birthday present next week so I can use it at the Hot Rod Drags!
