I'm just wondering has anybody had any experience of the Fitech system on a draw through turbo system
Does it work well or is it better to go conventional ecu/injection.
I like the old school look. Feed back would be a big help.

Worked perfectly right out of the box -- the only difference between draw-thru and blow-thru is one plug that is removed for a blow-thru installation --- this video is at first fire, and AJ says you need to have at least 100 driven miles before all the 'learning' gaps are filled in the programing -- the oil leak was because the engine builder didn't tighten the plugs for the oil galleys and I didn't catch it during install...

Amazing! No injectors or fuel rail to leak either. Is that with a locked out 009?
Here is AJ's blurb online about it. Sounds almost too good to be true. Sure hope he does a better job of setting it up compared to my Holley/weber 2bbl draw thru which couldn't run at all when I got it. One advantage port injection has over TB injection is no pooling in the turbo, but I sure like the clean installation of the Fitech.  Smiley

yep, locked out 009, but with crank trigger.... so the 009 is just there to feed the spark to the right hole.

Stuart Hodgson has had this or a very very similar kit on his drag bug 'Strip Poker' and has so far struggled with it. He made the change mid season and has gone back to carb because of the issues but did say he was going to try again with it over the off season. Might be worth speaking to him for some feedback Johnnie. He did say that it seemed a high quality setup, just he couldn't get it running properly!

Never liked the 'self learning' ecus much, locked in maps seem a lot easier to use/adjust probably ok for street use but from experience it has limitations for drag racing use.

Yes it would be good to talk to someone who has used this system for drag racing.  I was thinking the fact that it's self learning like a modern car would be a good thing
If the keeps the AFR controled up or down and is able to increase fuel under boost and timing control + the fuel automization from high fuel pressure has to be better than a carb but I could be wrong. The engine is a 2850 cc autocraft drag engine I'll have to make my mind up soon it's time to get this car sorted and out racing.

I watched the Summit video and they show the setup with the handheld touch screen.
They don't show tweaking the tuning. Not sure how much can be done manually if anything.

You can turn off the self learning and adjust the curve however you like manually....
