Runs with Scissors

« on: October 09, 2007, 15:58:48 pm »

I seem to be experiencing some issues with Firefox and this site. On two different systems, one WinXp the other Linux, which have been updated to the latest version of Firefox when I close the browser it seems to lose my login information. i.e. I log in, close the browser, open a new browser and return to the site, and I am no longer logged in. On a system with an older install of Firefox this is not an issue.  I also don't seem to be having this issue at the CLF which uses the same forum back end so I don't think it is a Firefox issue. (Though IE doesn't appear to have this issue.) Any ideas from the site admins with regards to this issue?

Thanks,

Mac is easy, and it gives you more time to play with VWs!

I use firefox on xp and vista.  No probs except sometimes it seems not to shutdown properly, and therefore messes up the cookies.  reenter data and its fine for ages.

I have been using Firefox on XP for a year and I have had no issues whatsoever. I did have my Windows operating system crash 2 weeks ago and I had to partition my hard drives and reinstall Windows.

Hey Louis,,, I dunno if you're still having an issue with FireFox but the solution for me was to link to http://www.cal-look.no/lounge/index.php rather than http://www.cal-look.no/lounge/

FireFox is a different internet browser. You're using Internet Explorer.

FireFox is much more versatile than internet explorer but occasionaly it will have issues with some web pages,
