Hope it doesn't rain on your trip, or maybe the cab is too fast for the rain to get in
Have a great trip!

It took me a little while to spot the new front wings, I was looking more at the roof rack and Fuchs and thinking you'd gone all resto cal on us!
Will you fit everything you need into the car or do you need a trailer too?

Rules say steel wings/fenders and must have bumpers in our class so that's what I did, didn't have any steel fronts here but Dean Kirsten had these USA spec for sale so grabbed them and gave them a quick massage and painted them
No trailer, if it doesn't fit I wont be taking it
, with running & racing it on same wheels/tyres so having no extra wheels to carry really helps room wise. Its just tools and clothes/racesuit/helmet we need really, and a few spares for stuff that might break like CVs/fuel pump/coil/oil etc and a lot of tea bags

Can you give us some more details on how the week work's? Is it point scoring and how many miles are planned?
It starts sunday 10th September with tech, they allow a whole day for that as there are 400 cars entered
There is also test n tune for those that wish to try break there cars before it even starts
not me though
We start Monday morning at the track with racing, you can do as many passes as you want to and then hand in your quickest pass of that day to organisers, they then give you the route you take to the next track which must take in 1 or 2 designated check points on the way, at the check point you have to take a picture of your car to prove you went their and then give this in or show it the next day to the organisers before you can make any passes at next track.
We do this for 5 days and your time is based on an average for all the tickets you gave in. Lowest average in each class wins[ we don't have any chance as we will be against 7 second cars but are doing it purely for the challenge and the fun of it
]
The drive between tracks is approx. 300-350 miles each day and we finish on Friday back at the track we started at[well hopefully
]
cheers Richie

good luck!
i know you have been working towards doing this a few years now, finally getting that box checked. the car looks good, have you polished it now as well
as for the end result. you say you have no chance, maybe, but maybe if the car can be consistent, the end result could be a higher ranking than what it looks like on paper
big thumbs up, have fun!!!!!

Thanks
, it took quite a lot of work to create a roofrack that would fit to the car, and make it so it releases easily and quickly at the track
Roof down wheelie
,That was fun, even if it did surprise me when it did it

Very VERY cool Richie! Thank you for sharing. Even though I have not followed it for 25 years I have at least been lucky enough to see it in action several times.
All the best from Norway,
