Congrats Joel! That was a great episode...gave our old air cooled VW's some attention for sure. Great job and very cool car! Didn't know that the car still held that record either.

I could not have landed it softly, I would of over braked with the loading dock limitations.
Joel maybe carry the air pressure gauge in a small plastic foam lined box bolted to the floor.
Did the pen stay in the door on the Big Wheelie? Wink

It's etched to my memory clear when visiting California for the first time and seeing this car on Irwindale Dragstrip doing it's thing! And this was before the episode had aired and I thought this is something else! And later when seeing the episode thinking "I know this car!"  Grin
