I think they are, I have a set of OLD Superflow heads and they are going to be 98,00mm but I had them welded for WBX bolt pattern.Barrel OD is 106.5 before breaking through casting.
We are also running a set of custom bored/honed Jaycee barrels on older Angle Flow castings / type 1 pattern with 96.9 bore...

Yes you can do that , if you have relocated bolt plattern you can go up to 101,6.

Thank you Udo, the heads are already built up. If I remove valves etc and have them bored will I be ok? I won't have to relocate valve seats etc?

Out of interest Lee, what pistons any cylinders do you have for 96.5?

Cheers

For 96,5 you do not have to remove anything . A case with 10mm threads for example can get bored to that cylinder - super street rules :-)

So a 10mm head stud case can accommodate 96.5?

If the 10mm thread is right in the case without savers it works

Only 10mm threads in the case , like aluminiums . No bigger inserts
