Hi Monkiboy and Christoph,
four of us DFL members will be at the Volksworld Show (like the last eight years). You can find us in the KK swap meet at the window side. We usually wear our club shirts so you can't miss us.
Drop by and say hello if time allows.
So Christoph, your from Germany? Where are you from? Good to see some more Germans here. Are both of your cars off the road or do you restore only the 60s rag?
Cheers,
Georg

Hi Georg,
I´m from Hannover, we had a short talk at the MCM last year, my car was the blue primered, daily driven oval with sprintstars. It´s still on the road and since last summer with historical plate, so I can drive it the hole year
.
Hope the 60th ragtop is finished 30.4. but in the moment the car is in parts, the chassis is wellded and painted and the body is in sandblasting. It´s lots of work and time is running.
Please excuse my bad school English
Greetings

Hi Christoph,
now I remember you! Tell me how someones car look like and I will usually remember a face to it, but rarely a name - so bare with me.
And don't worry about your english. Most people here are no native speaker, so most of the time no one realises the mistakes we make. I for myself prefer to speak english because then I don't have to check how to spell words.
Hope to see you again at the MCM. I won't be there with my Ghia, because the new engine is still in pieces. But at least the car is ready for the big one with the wider opening for the engine lid, new paint, Pro Street gearbox, swingaxle subframe with IRS arms, baywindow CV joints, and so on... My aim is to race the car in Bitburg and maybe – just maybe – at the SCC. Maybe...
Anyway, good to see you here!
Cheers,
Georg

Hi Christoph,
the color will stay the same. It's just repainted in the enginebay and the inner wheel arches.
Cheers,
Georg
