Can anyone recognize this CV joint? Manufacturer and model (and year model) please...

http://www.rickskraschsite.com/catalog.php?ProdID=GM-874

I tried to buy it from the link's shop, but they didn't replied to my request.

It looks like the outer CV from a 2001ish Chevy Monte Carlo.  I know most of the micro stub parts are GM based.  The 5x4.5 bolt pattern is used by those cars also.

Thank you for your reply. I bought one FWD CV joint and it`s outside splines matched to hub, but inside splines and joint were too small. So, that's why I'm looking for sure information.

Someone said me that it might be from 4x4 trucks front drive shaft. Anyone played with those US trucks and can confirm?

A 2001 Ford 4wd F-150 has a 33 spline stub shaft, and 5 lug studs, but they are a strange pattern, not the 5x4.5" from your link.

A 2010ish Dodge 1500 is 33 spline, and 5 lug, but it is the big 5x5.5" pattern.

I use rockauto.com.  You can scroll through different years and parts, and then click on the info button, and it will tell you spline count, bolt pattern etc.  Some brands dont give info, so you will have to try different manufactures of the hubs.

If you do find something, please let me know.  I am also looking to find a production CV with inner splines to match a VW axle shaft.

I seem to have a recollection of Adele Woodbridge using similar stub axles on the back of her '59 drag bug, and that they were Corvette ones. Of course I could be just talking out of my backside...

Edit: I am talking out my arse. Just re-read the end of her thread and they are fabricated arms with VW IRS bearing housings. So that means that ive read it somewhere else, by no idea where!
