I just had a lifter take out my CB case. I see the CB cases are clearance for 86mm crank but nut 88mm. Should I step up and get the Scat killer case? or is there something out there I should get?

Can you existing case not be repaired? I have had them done a few times when lifter broke the case.

Scat don't have any cases at moment, TF1 is probably best choice with its dropped cam for 88mm crank but it isn't a simple bolt together, the normal ally cases will take a 88mm crank, they just might need a little hand clearancing depending on what rods you use

cheers Richie

If I remember correctly Mike at Autocraft told me his new cases are done also . Mega Machine in North Carolina has and does repair or install roller cam setups into the Cb Cases so it is more than possible to repair your case.

Found out my case can not be repaired. The lifter bore broke down to the oil passage. I'm going with the TF-1 case.
