I bought this car 10 years ago without any engine. For a start I built a stock 1600 turbo engine and pulled it to 13.9 with only 1 bar of boost. Then I pushed it to limits....up to 2.4bar but never raced it with that combo. Then I built biturbo type 4  but never got to track with that combo. Then I cutted all out of it and istalled stock NA audi 4.2 engine (220kw)  It pulled to 11.7 Next year I added some nitrous and pushed it to 10.9 Few engines later I decided to go with turbo. First engine made 10.8 and 0.1sec better result wasn?t what I was looking for. One day before next event I heard bad noise from engine on dyno  and I found alot of metal and bent rods in it. We had 12 hours left to event and put together another stock engine (250kw S8) and it pulled to 9.9 with FIRST pass. I have no rollcage I cant go faster that 10.0 but last weekend it pulled to 9.8 @ 233km/h  with only 1 bar of boost. Actually its tuned up to 1.5bar  and Im sure it could pull near to 9.5 without any problems. If anybody interested I would sell it for 15k? but I?m quite sure I?m going to cut all out of it and start building a new tubular frame to start hunting 8 sec Smiley

We had a really nice weekend that ended our season. It was first event this year with working clutch and we were pretty fast...
Our record was 9.8 from last year and 9.7 with slipping clutch from spring but now we tested, learned, tuned and passes were:
9,9 / 9,7 / 9,5 / spin / 9,3 / 9,0 with 242km/h and 5.8 on 8th mile. Quess how good it was to finally prove that it really goes fast as I knew for many months but had no chanche to prove it because of clutch problems.
We were trying to make 8sec run in final but we broke the cv joint and had to leave with second place as fastest car in our class.

Inside cam video is coming soon Smiley Stay tuned and check for some more: http://www.facebook.com/WhlsUp
I had been thinking about selling this car but I really like to keep it for one more season because there are some room for better performance. Plans we had but need some more starts to reach were: less than 6 sec form 0 to 200km/h (We were able to make 195 on 1/8th but not 200km/h  and we hoped 8 sec and 250 top speed @ 402m but we are 0,08702 and 7,6km/h behind...sorry but this speed needs some aero now. Itīs really scareful when I have to take down the speed after the line.

it is way more 'mad max' than cal look, but it sure looks scary and fun.
