Need Help Picking a Cam.
Hi Guys I am Putting Together a Street Motor for one of my Cars, Car is a Full Stock Body 67 SEDAN
Here are the Engine Specs
 69x94 (1914)
69mm Berg C/W Crank
42x37 Steve Tims Stage2 Heads (Oval Ports)
1 5/8 Merge with Dual Qp's (NOS 4 Tuned) Grin
12 Lb Flywheel with Stage 1 Kennedy
42 Dcnf's Berg Specials with 34mm Vents
I have 1 to 1 rockers on hardend shafts and also have Auto Craft 1.4's Depending on Cam Choice
trans is a 4:12 R/P Stock 1st & 2nd 1:48 3rd 1:04 4th with a super diff and side plate
car will be used mainly  as a weekend cruiser but want to be able to drive it anywhere without worring about if it will make it
Compression will be around 9 to 1
I am looking to  build a combo thats runs hard when you want it but very driveable  and smooth on the street as my wife will be driving it Roll Eyes  Thanks in Advance for any Help..

I would think a w120 or w125 with 1.1 or an FK-8 with 1.4s would be a nice cam with that setup.

What's the differences between a w125 and a Fk8? More power, less agreement, less reliable or so?

what i heard the powerband of a W125 is higher as a fk8. the k8 is also lighter on the lifters as it uses 1.4 rockers. i have opted for the fk8 myself since it seems to be the better choice between both of them concerning longlivety.

A 120 cam will be perfect for that motor.... but if its for the wife maybe a 110 Wink

LOL Zach She will just have to Suffer Grin I want the Performance besides after a Quick trip around the Block I dont think she will want to Drive it any more Cheesy Plus I might have to Clean the Drivers seat Grin Grin
