Problems with CB Update Kit for DellOrto 40DRLA FD

Hello,

I want to install the CB Update Kit for my DellOrto 40 DRLA FD carbs.
Does the CB Update Kit don't work with italian Dells (mine got a "wing" aux venturi with a square broached mounting surface / o-ring)

Pic showes the CB venturi with spray bar wich walk into the main jet hole...

Yours do seem to have the OEM to the Alfa Sud or similar with the cold start system and not the universal aftermarket versions we got over here in the states.

Maybe go back to the original Dellorto main and auxiliary vent design?

Yes. That would be the thing to do. These Alfa carbs do not benefit from the upgrade kit. They flow very well as is.
