Hi all,

Glad to see this forum is alive and well...I've frequented shoptalkforums and the old cal-look forum (RIP) for many years and not sure why I didn't end up over here sooner - seems like a great place to be.

Anyhow, looking for a high-quality source for polished aluminum t-bars in the United States. I noticed Fast Fab has some nice ones but they only seem to come in raw and I dont have a local polisher near me. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

They do have some nice looking aluminum t bars. I did contact them asking if they can outsource some polishing for extra money but have not heard back.

It seems like there are fewer people making quality t bars these days or maybe I’m just not looking in the right places?

I just bought a set for my 56 from them, the quality is good. I was also wanting to get a polished set but I will end up doing it myself I think. I bought the hex units.

I have a set or Fast Fab's hex bar t-bars on my '69. I'm very happy with them.

did you polish them yourself or have someone do it for you? I used to have Sihilling (spelling?) polish my parts when I lived in SoCal and they did a great job.

Honestly, I thought they came polished, maybe I had them done. I think I picked them up at a show about 8 years ago, maybe he polished them up for the event. Regardless, I love the way they look. If you want the round stock, the ones Empi sells are good. Nice welds, and I know for a fact they come polished.
