could anyone give me some more info on the heads I got here?
They are mexico 043 heads, with 44x37.5 stainless valves, a lot of welding and a lot of porting done.
don't have any flownumbers or what so ever, the guy I got them from didn't now either, he bought them without knowing what to use them for..

one head has MR stamped in it, the other JK, maybe that someone knows who might of made these? never seen the bolt patern for the intakes like that neither..

thanks!

The manifold flange and offset valve guide speaks Autocraft to me. My guess is pre 1983.

Offset valve guides, could you explain a little? Never heard of it, what's the benefit? Only to move valves a little?

the hole in the valveguide is off centre,
don't have better pictures for now, but you get the picture.
with this type of guides you can put the valves further from each other..
no idea if it is safe to use?

Often used to get bigger valves. It is safe to use.

thank you!
just need to get the guides checked because one of them isn't seated completely anymore and I have the feeling that there is a little bit of play between the valve and guides..

Ok thanks for the info! Makes sense now.

I guess it's not really a quick job to change back to normal 'cause reworking the valve seats too..
