1961 "Cal-Look" Beetle Barnfind

This 61 followed me home this week.











My guess is that it was restored/customized in the mid 80's and saw little use. It's been sitting for years. It's converted to 12 volt, has a 74 1600 dp, fiberglass flared fenders and empi style wheels. I can't believe how solid the floors and heater channels are for a 48 year old east coast car. My plan is to recreate the look of an 60's/70's GTV.
