Hey Guys,

Just wanted to bench race for a moment and see who here has used or is currently using the CB performance Wedgeport heads on their engines with success.

Any WHP dyno numbers? 1/4 mile times?  I'd love to hear about your combos!

Getting excited as I have a set of these on order with 44x37 valves.

My combo will be:

84 DPR crank x 94 Cima/Mahle (but I also ordered some Weisco's...so we'll see)
Wedgeports
FK89
11:1 ish compression
1 3/4 header
48 IDA Webers

Trans is a 3.88, 4.11/2.47/1.71/1.31 with SAW axles, Quaife, Erco mainshaft, blah blah...

Stephen

I hope so! I wanted this combo to be able to produce 11's, so that's the goal with some seat time!

We did a 2332 a few years ago [mag case, scat crank & rods, wiseco pistons in long cylinders, scat rockers fk89], with out of box CB wedgeports[44/37.5,650 springs ti retainers] with only flycutting for compression, nice matchported tall manifolds with 48IDAs, msd and decent header, ran best 11.56@116mph with Jo driving in all steel 61 ragtop, factory glass etc, with chromoly cage, 2 race seats and no back seat but everything else factory weight, even had spare wheel in place still Shocked
We ran slicks but no burnout as we had no idea what was in gearbox as it came with car Shocked

cheers Richie
