Can they be extended by welding? Cut, extend, weld?

Hi guys, FLC.

Before I go further with the long arm .
Does it touch the underside of the boot floor and
what is the cable angle like when it comes out of the end of the conduit cable, plus I guess I'll be after a slightly longer cable

Or you can modify the arm on the pedal side..

Like extend the clutch arm or a longer cable hook.

Won't it be shorter? THen you'll get more leverage on the cable

got me thinking now, It must be either extend the clutch leaver or the pedal, not both, to be fair if I extended the clutch pedal a couple inches that might be better as the 67 pedals are close together. The 68 on pedals had more space between them

It uses the stock cable and clears the boot floor by a long way, I don't think they are massively longer, but the ratio did give a lighter pedal with a stage 1 Kennedy than the stock arm and clutch set up

CSP has Flat-4's version of the longer arm for the 16mm shaft. I think Bruce on the samba has been out for a while.

Hope this is ok? Link to some info , I'd sell my early long one or swap it for a 75 on long arm
