i would use the geatronics gear knob. they also have a inline sensor, but this is only M8 thread an can be damaged easyly.
But your Problem might be that the voltage is going up in one direction and down in the other, as this is H-Pattern.
I dont know if you can set up the DTA to make a ignition cut in both directions….
The shift must be perfomed with as less torque as possible so in my opinion ist a full ignition cut.
