I have a 2276cc that is, all being well, going to see some strip action next year, however the engine was second hand when I bought it, and although it's running great (famous last words) on the street, there are a few too many unknowns that need resolving before it gets used in anger on the strip, so I'm looking to have it rebuilt during this year.
Anyone have recommendations for places they've actually had work done in the UK?
My research has thrown up a few, (Reichspeed, RNJ, GAC, Stateside) to look into, but other suggestions are what I'm after.
If it was a stock motor, I'd 'have a go', but I have too much invested already so want it done by someone who knows what they're doing!
 Cheers, Dave.

Thanks both  Smiley
@ Richie, this is exactly why I'm asking the question. I've bought stuff from you previously, just didn't know that this was the sort of thing you'd do as well.  Embarrassed

I am not big at the "look at me I built this" stuff so its mostly word of mouth or recommendations Smiley

It's old school for a reason

Had a couple of engines from Richie and a rebuild of another and the one in the car I bought recently was from Rawspeed

Richie was easy to deal with, happy to give advice, quick turnaround, trouble free motoring with all three engines and all drive great.

The Rawspeed engine was also good and drove very nicely. He was happy to answer a couple of questions I had via email which was answered within a hour even though I wasn’t the original customer.

Don’t think you’d go wrong with either

Regards Ron

Hector Howe In Ipswich, Suffolk  built the 2110 in my bus years ago and I’ve done countless miles on that all over Europe and driven it hard without issue. If not Ritchie Webb or Ian Clarke, both built some seriously quick stuff which speaks for itself. 90% of the bits in my motor came from Richie & Jo at RJ. Can’t fault them
