A while back when i restored my 67 , i had some issues to find two original front fenders with the same embossing next to the headlight.
The cheap aftermarket have almost no deepening , but those i am not interested in anyhow.
But even original VW seem to have at least two different shapes , a mismatch made the car looking strange , a little like cross eyed.
I still have a left good fender , looking for the same for the right side . Anybody can help me identify ?

I just checked , it looks like the blue one has a „sharper“ edge where it goes over to the board . Might be an illusion due to the white one is repainted and has had some slight bodyfiller applied

Oval fenders have a more pronounced heel where they meet the running board, early oval even more pronounced than late oval. Some nos oval fenders won't necessarily have the headlight wire tube depending on when they were manufactured. The blue fender sure looks early, does it have hole on top for turn signal? Factory or later modification?

How sure are you the whited fender is original? Other than that I'm out of suggestions. Plenty of knowledge on the American forum though.

One was installed at the car , the other one i bought from a trustful source , the weight of both is the same , and both are really heavy . Same as the blue one

So it looks like i ve got a 60-63 fender .
The turn signals are going to be deleted anyway .
I start looking for a r/h front fender
