been using the 36 style doghouse on my 2332 with great results, the usual taiwan shroud, had to do some adjustments, fitted the venturi ring, air deflectors and worked good.

getting a new engine built, i was planning to get rid of the doghouse cooler, rely on the external Setrab, stock relief blocked off, relief at Jaycee filter head back to sump, hence i bought the aftermarket 36hp non doghouse shroud that accepts the late fan, i realised it is empty inside - no cooling vanes.

those running this shroud (non doghouse) having any issues or did I get a bad piece with no vanes inside?

No vanes. Never known 1 to have no vanes. Don't use it. My motor ran hot with a Copy 36 doghouse. It was cooler with an original doghouse. A 356 pulley cooled it down some as well.

i got reply from CB Performance and CSP that they do sell these non doghouse shrouds 36hp with internal vanes inside.

https://www.csp-shop.com/en/engine/fan-shroud-22kw30-ps-style-119-025-170s-11228a.html

apparently made by a different vendor.

can use late 37mm width fan.
