Dellorto DRLA values

I don't know if it's allowed to post for advice on a value, so please feel free to delete or move the thread...

I have a pair of DRLA 40s and pair of DRLA 36s, both in really nice condition - plenty of original gold plating/anodising still present. I bought them over 10 years ago as freshly refurbed for vehicles that I now no longer own, have never actually used them but kept them 'just in case'. In order to fund the progress of my 'keeper' car which now has a set of DRLA 48s (funding engine refresh, roll cage, etc), I think I would like to sell them on but I have little idea of a 'sensible' value.

Just the carbs, no manifolds, linkages, filters.

DRLA 40:
 142 mains
 60 idles
 175 air correctors
 34 mm chokes

DRLA 36
 122 mains
 58 idles
 180 air correctors
 30 mm chokes

I look on ebay and see them at £750 a pair, and at Eurocarb £795+VAT.
Is that realistic?
Any advice gratefully received.

Give euro carb a call. There nice people and will advise you on a price.
With prices, it all depends who wants them and how much they will pay.
Mr loaded might just pay the 795 cause he's loaded. And he might be looking right now.
There's luck involved in selling anything theses days.

These are secondhand carbs which 'may' have been professionally rebuilt 10 years ago. You can't compare the value with that of newly refurbed carbs from Eurocarb. I'd say £400-450 max.

Thanks both, appreciate the replies. I'll have a chat with eurocarb and see what they have to say, and the £400-450 is where I was thinking until I saw what they were being advertised at elsewhere. £800-900 is a good chunk towards my cage
