The bump stops are under the top sleeve of the front shocks leec.  Cut the welds at the top of the sleeve and remove it, you will find the bump stops underneath the sleeve.  I cut over an inch out of mine that gave me some extra travel although I may be at the limit of my ball joint travel now.  The EMPI extended travel ball joints are on their way from CIP1.
