Can anyone tell me where I can get one of the ally plates I've seen fitted to a few cars now..

I'm assuming they are around 8mm thick to space a type 1 motor onto 091 box without modifying and poss give some strength?

Anyone have any 3 Insh short folts axles by any chance? 🤔

Thanks
James

Why do you need to space the engine off the gearbox? on a tube chassis car its common to use a ally motor plate to mount the engine/gearbox but they are usually only about 3mm thick actually between the engine and gearbox so as not to space it off to ,much or clutch wont work
cheers Richie

Ahh I see, was thinking to save swapping the Bell.housing and input shaft over to bolt a type 1 straight up to 091, or ahould i just lop a bit off the end of the shaft? ..
