Hi guys
I’ve been trying to find previous history on a split bug I’ve done up here in Australia
It was imported from the USA many years ago and has had a couple previous owners in Australia already
The first pic is how I got it apart from an engine I installed
It’s aqua in colour and had pink/purple suspension underneath and a pink pinstripe
Alloy dash plates and trims, billet knobs, it had Webber windows cut into firewall and must have had a decent size engine at one stage
It was on a 60,s pan also, had heart taillights, there was basically nothing but a split body with a 60,a pan and alloy accessories
I would really like to find out some history on it and what it used to be like many years ago, it must have looked pretty nice in its hey day.
I think it was last done up late 80,s early 90,s
The closest picture I found was one of mike Mahaffeys split which i had to look at a few times but he had crotch coolers by the looks
It would have been around the same era I would say
The last picture is how it looks now
I have replaced the pan with a period correct one and replaced all the missing split items

Any help would be appreciated if anyone remembers this car at all?
Cheers
Steve
