Hi there,

I want to rebuild a typ 1 engine for a camper. (T1 snail camper)
The setup at this moment is (1900cc), 74x90,5 , engle W100 cam, heads with 40/35,5 valves and std. rockers, 40mm iDF's.
It is not meant to be a racecar but I want to give it just a little more power and torque.

Heads are worn. First thought is to keep the crank and piston/cyl. to build a 1900 again.

What do you recommand, do's and don'ts ?

Looking forward to your suggestions. Thanks!

Best regards, Peter

Are you sure the bore and stroke are correct? as they make 2007cc. I would leave it that size if its correct, were the current heads ported? or just bigger valves? do you know compression ratio at moment? some sensible ported heads with 110 cam would most likely liven it up while being totally streetable still

cheers Richie

Hi Richie,
I made a mistake with the crank...it is 74. Thanks for that  Wink
The heads are lightly ported.
I'm not sure about the CR. I'll have to mesure this.

Cheers, Peter

When you say that the heads are worn, what do you mean? Needs new guides and seats?
