After messing about with EFI for years, i have come up with, what i think is a solution for the crank trigger. I made a few years ago but you had to remove the trigger to take the belt off, not ideal.

Take a look at my new setup and let me know what you think...

I have machined the customers Berg pully for his application. I have made a fixture for machining the pulleys so they will all come out the same. Or you can buy one of mine ready done Wink

Very nice! What pickup are you using?
I have a Jaycee crank trigger that I bought used and never used just because it isnīt possible to use with a fan belt.

I've got the first one of these it uses a ford zetec trigger. Martin said to set my timing to 68 deg it was spot on.

The honeywell sensor is one that autronic and motec reccomend and its available from most electronic stores, yes you probably coulduse the ford sensor you have.
Yes the adjustable bracket is not the best idea if the sensor comes loose. As it is the type of thing, once set it never need to be re visted.
The distributor is a msd dist with the magnetic reluctor sensor removed and a golf mk 2 hall sensor fitted in its place, it triggers only at tdc on number 1. I could have gone waste spark, but i wanted the look. The ecu fires the msd 6a box.
Can you do power pulley size?

          They are cb ida manifolds. They are 50mm jenvey throttle bodies, I made the linkage arms out of berg ida and the jenvey ones. Were'nt you going to run jenvey throttle bodies?

Hi Dave, Nice looking set up BTW, yes I have been running Jenvey 48mm IDF bodies for about 4 years now,  The reason I asked the question about the manifolds is that on my IDF bodies the CB manifolds I have make the Bodies sit with the fuel rails outboard, Due to the wide stud spacing being on the outboard side of the manifolds ( which is correct if you use IDF carbs) But not with the T-bodies.... Bruce made up some Carb-Turn a-rounders ( adapter plates ) for me. 

In your case things with the IDA style bodies works out perfectly.

I'm changing to the latest Megasquirt brain this winter and also making a few other small  Wink changes to the drive train this year... 
My goal for 2008 is to get into the 10's on 94 octane, in full 1900 lb trim... ( I have to knock off 1/2 a second of my current ET. to make it happen)
