What is the current thoughts on piston rings? Total seal 2nd still the way to go? How about top and oil? Stock Mahle or? P&Cs will be 94B Mahle. (street car) I have heard of problems with getting TS rings to seal.

Thanks,

Mahle cast's for me. I've heard the same thing about the TSs. I've never run them so I can't speak of them.

A lot of folks around here are using Grant cast iron rings.  The seat fast and they are inexpensive.

Yeah I keep seeing that name pop up on different forums. Also Deves. The stock mahle rings are chromoly and I hear they can be hard to seat. Also, I think Berg recommends honing to AN500 for their rings.

Thanks,
