hi guys , i need your help , i would put an oil temperature sender in my racetrim oil sump
but i don't know the threads , should I use as metric or NPT? for the guy who worked at auto haus do you remember ,
i can not remove the bolt as there some oil in the sump and case

Hi Fabs, it will be npt, most temp senders are 1/8th npt but usually the sump has different size like 1/4npt so you need an adaptor to fit it

this one?
1/4'' NPT male to 1/8'' NPT female
or here in belgium the sender can be in metric? so i will take 1/4npt female to M10 male if avaible

Yep that should work, can you measure outside of plug that's in sump right now? to confirm it is what i expect it to be

here you go Richie, I took the measurement above the thread (16,9mm) and between the thread (15,6mm)

I haven't used one of those in sump, when i used vdo it was the dual temp and pressure sender in stock pressure location
