It must be a really early shifter.  I've only seen one other brass reverse button.  Clyde told us that when they first started making them, they used up the last of the dds shifter parts hence the gold reverse button.  Very cool, Frank.

   I have a couple of them one is the short shifter with the locking key and the other is the longer version and someone ground off the name Gene Berg off of it.
