Dear Uncle Jim:
Again, you've hit close to home. The Balian House is a short walk from my house, Christmas Tree Lane (ironically,very close to the old Competition Eng. building) and Hastings Ranch are maybe 3 to five minutes away and St. Albans Road is near where I grew up, about 10 minutes away. If this gets planned, and I hope it does, please count on my house as a place to retire to for a hot toddy and good discussion. There is even a good chance I could get us into the Bundy house to see a MINDBLOWING collection of toy trains, cars, slot cars and bike and auto memorabilia.
I would be happy to organize and be part of the drive. Heaters anybody? Last night it got down to 35F.
Mauro, if you are in Pasadena and would like to meet or see the sights, please contact me. I'd be happy to help out.

I figured you'd be in on this Dave! My parents come into town on Thursday 12/20, and will be in until the 23rd...so that weekend my be tough for me. I think I can get away this Saturday night or the night of Sunday 23rd.....I hate to post a happening and then not be able to participate....holidays get nutzo...I know.  |

The 23rd is tough for me, unless it is early, which would might work. 21st or 22nd? Doesn't matter what time if people are getting off work...... Uncle Jim was checking some other dates.........If we can nail a date, I will see about us getting into the Bundy place. Bill, you especially would dig on it. So would Uncle Jim.

I'm open the 21st or 22nd...Sunday is out for me. I told Mauro the 21st as I had commitments for the 22nd, but those plans got moved to another date, so Saturday is now open. I will say Friday could be hell with traffic...
