There are some nice ones in a 1981 issue of VW trends, both colour(color for our american friends) and black and white. I'm sure fabian has them.

I remember seeing him selling a bunch of the parts (Wheels) off at either Pomona or the Classic and seeing the car at Pomona later with chromies on it and looking kinda rough.

Am I the only one who isn't into that car? It's not the suicide doors, although I don't like them, or the gold and brass detailing, I'm just not keen on the overall look of the car. The stance just isn't right!  |

hi gang...the parts on larry shaws car were 'brass plated' not gold....(sorry)....great story for those that have yet not gone to my website and read about our scheduled hot vw photo day with the "brass bug" www.dynodon.net ....the car was eventually bought by richard kimballs friend andy buford and brought to me to detail it once again after many many years (bug-in days)and to help him sell the car...the rest is history......enjoy/dyno don |
