Great score on the Borat movie, Ian. I want that movie... but without the hotel scene. That's just wrong on too many levels.

Watched Rose Red at the weekend, a Stephen king mini-series on DVD. Quite good, if a little predictable in places.
Last night watched series 3 of The League Of Gentlemen - not as good as series 2, but still quite watchable.

Amen to that, brother. I bought a copy of the dvd and I have to skip that scene.
The extra features are pretty funny, though.

The cheese part had me crying it was so funny. Have you ever watched "Da Ali G Show" on HBO?

Yep, the cheese segment should have been in the movie. Never heard of the Ali G. show. In 2001, I gave up on cable t.v. But I can have my girlfriend burn me a copy on her d.v.r. with her cable. If it's still airing, that is.

mark ,
sacha baron cohen played a carachter called ali-g before borat ... he started off on a spook news show called "11 oclock show" . hes like one of the kids who think theyre "gangster"
ricky gervaise was on it too as an outspoken , un-p.c. reporter .... excellent !!!
if you can get copies of this , i REALLY recommend it
ali-g would do spoof interviews , acting thick etc.etc. i think it got too popular , and everybody knew who he was , so wouldnt work anymore ....
a bit like borat meeting the feminists in the movie ... i think i remember him interviewing germaine greeher , prominant uk feminist , and talking about trying to get his girlfriend to be a "feminist" for a night at a party ... greeher was horrified
said something like "i think youre mistaking feminists for lesbians" i'll see if i can find some on youtube
he does a gay designer now , a bit rubbish .
he was on the news last week , at some prop 8 rally
think it was in long beach

Didn't know the exact name, but I knew that he had a show before he did Borat. Thanks for the history lesson, Ian. I'll have to search YouTube for that stuff.
