I was told that Steve Tims Mean Machine got repainted red, so that could be it?
Bought it?

Yea,
I also think that it might be Steve Tim's Mean Machine...
Saw pictures of it being Red with De Coppen Bros Logo on it or something like that...
It used to be up for Sale...

It could be: "The Ghia" made by Kawell KRE ? before the pinstripings and lettering?

I have so many VW drag racing pictures... it would take quite awhile to scan 'em all. In the meantime, here ya go.
I took this pic of Red Rider at one of the Bug-In or Drag Day events at Orange County International Raceway in the early '80s.

Thanks, Fab. When I get a new scanner, the pics will look much better. I'm merely taking pictures of pictures. So the quality fully sucks. HAHA!! That, and I don't feel like taking the time in PhotoShop to go through each one and fix 'em.

My dad is pretty good friends with Cory Mac, I'll have to see if he still has his old VW stuff. Ghia funny car, white oval window with flames and stripes! I thinks they're headed back to Gainsville for the Gatornationals. Glenn
