test for work....it's tough

California Highway 180, runs east to west. Name correctly, four cities it runs through, it’s total length and the name of the two roads it will be expanded on to in the future.
a. Stockton, Redding, Arvin, Lone Pine; 68.5 miles; Pinewood Rd. and Clearwater Springs Ave.
b. Kerman, Mendota, Frenso, Dunlap; 112.31 miles; Shields Ave and Little Panoche Rd
c. Easton, Lemoore, Wasco, Reedley; 148.88 miles; Gold Canyon Rd and Middlefield Rd
d. Bakersfield, San Luis Obispo, Eureka, Oakland; 96.77 miles; Monneth Run Rd and Poison Lake Ave

Susanne sleeps an average of 6.48 hours per night annually. Lately that time has increased in the last 24 days by 7.2%. The hours that she is now sleeping more primarily occur after sunrise, except on Thursdays, when she must wake early to attend an art class. There are 14 students in the art class, 7% boys and 93% girls. The median age of the girls is 14.6 years old and the median age of the boys is 13.877614 years old. The class meets 1 day a week for 30 weeks and is 90 minutes long. In the average class, each student will use approximately 14.6 ounces of tap water, and .006 ounces of watercolor paint. Given each student supplies their own paper, it is understood that most children carry under 1lb of supplies to class every Thursday. During the autumn and winter months the class is held, the children will wear an average mix of 76.05% cotton, 21.95% rayon and 2% wool. Which direction to 6% of the students travel in the late morning, once class has ended?

If you were walking to Morgan Hill from the city of Gustine, which way would you walk and would you have to climb any grade, whatsoever?

Arcata, Arcadia, Riverbank and Riverdale all sound alike. In which ways are these cities not alike?

Traveling north on Dairy Ave in the lovely city of Corcoran, if you were to make a left-hand turn onto Whitely Ave, what type of municipal infrastructure might you encounter?
a. a shipbuilding yard
b. a public beach
c. an airport
d. a vegetable canning plant

If you were without car, but owned a good raft, you realistically could commute to work in Byron if you lived in Bethel Island.

Carmen seems to believe her brother has gone 4 days now without shaving. As punishment, her mother, Julie intends to force the brother to eat nothing but spaghetti with no sauce.

Daily, an average of .006 automobiles travel at a speed greater than 46mph on New Idria Rd, headed southwest to the city of New Idria. Can you tell me what kind of car can be divided into .006?

Martin Grogerson left his home in San Ardo, CA at 6:30am headed due north, his destination was the intersection of Highways 166 and Soda Lake Rd, near Maricopa, CA. If Martin travels at an average of 61mph, and stops 4 times, once for a donut, once for chewing gum, once to go to the bathroom and once for a speeding ticket, what time will he get there?

To reach the Motel 6 just about 9 miles east of Coalinga CA in a 1975 Mercury Bobcat wagon, and you initiated your trip from Gualala, CA, you’d consume approximately 17 gallons of 87 octane fuel (RON #). Considering the Ford 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine has now 321,451 miles on it, and has .024” radial play in the intake valve guides, and the top ring gap is now .030”, how many quarts of 30wt Castrol HD can we expect the engine to consume on a trip from Tehachapi CA, to Windsor, CA? And in the average month, this Bobcat makes 177 right hand turns.

Winnie is tired of her long commute to work from home every day. She travels an average of 144 miles one way every day. Can you: a) tell where she commutes to and where from? And b) calculate her average caloric intake on Tuesdays between the times of 10:16am and 3:38pm?

Robinson moved to Chester CA, from his small residential loft that was located in downtown Priest Valley, CA. He’s had some trouble locating work in Chester and its nearby environs. Most jobs are seasonal in this mountain community, and since he smokes, many business owners are against hiring him. He has a travel restriction of 45 miles per day, and prefers to earn $22,000 annually. His three children are enrolled in a home schooling program, and one is 8 years old. This child hopes to have a beard by the age of 15. The other two children are frightened by the sound of the dishwasher. Robinson’s wife has enlisted the help of a maid, and a seamstress to assist her during her busy day. The average temperature during the months November through March is 41 degrees F. Without a job, Robinson was forced to sell his Paul Simon record collection and make $36.00 from the sale. Which cities in California did his aunt work in during 1971-1976?

1. Monitor lake is 648 feet deep at its deepest point in late spring. Surrounding the lake are a mixture of birch trees and low lying chaparral shrubs, covering a square area of 45.6 miles. During its peak tourist season, an average of 6000 guests will visit the area. Among them are a high percentage of Korean women. Before they arrive, many of these women will celebrate their husband’s birthday among friends and family. Each family has been in the United States for an average of 26.4 years, and consists of 36 people. Once the temperature falls below freezing, on the coldest nights near Monitor Lake a very specific species of insect will fertilize its partner’s eggs and in approximately 6-7 days larvae will be present, at an average of 11mm long. Each pupa has the capability of consuming 41 square inches of human flesh, if the temperature and humidity levels are ideal. UNfortuately, this are experiences a very high level of automobile accidents which have nothing to do with the high population of Korean women or larvae. Many of the people injured in the auto accidents have been named Kelly. Often times it is late in the afternoon and the angle of the sun is much of a factor when considering how quickly the larvae populate the area. The average vehicle speed within a 5 mile radius of Monitor Lake is 58mph. In cubic feet, what is the evaporation rate for this lake?
