Don't laugh, for me it's the heavy duty vacuum cleaner. I can't produce good results when the shop is not clean.

The stereo. It all starts there. The work can't begin until there's some music in the background.

This is a tough one. At home either my Snap-On metric swivel socket wrenches or my Dremel and in the shop my Bondhus ball end hex wrenches

Hi John, I thought it was interesting that Flow and Omax are both within a few miles of each other. Must be a Boeing thing. I know Boeing uses a lot of waterjets, in their manufacturing processes. Really big ones too. In our shop, the waterjet has become the most used machine tool. Most first operations are done on the waterjet, and then the workpeices move on to cnc mill, lathe, or brake press, for secondary ops. All welded and epoxyed work peices are cut out on waterjet also. No more need for jigs and fixtures. Everything snaps together, with tongue and groove type construction.

Hi Bill! OT I had to tie my Christmas tree to the ceiling, when my cat started to climb it. He figured that as a real tree, it had to be climbed, and then it would falll over. We now use a fake tree, no more problems.

I would have to take back my previous post of "workbench"
I think the tool that gets the most use in the garage is the bottle opener.
