Jim's post on IDAs got me to thinking about this video. For me, seeing this video for the first time on the old CLF was a defining moment in wanting a hot street VW. Hearing the wail of that engine at full tilt still gives me goose bumps. Helps that it is the perfect color too.  Grin

So here for you viewing pleasure, an oldie but a goodie, the one, the only, Quaife Test.

Propper cllasic Smiley L'd love to put one in my car... but the price is killing me Smiley
by the way does anyone have some expiriance in driveing a car with Quaife dif I mean in car as dalie driver. I was holding those difs in my hands but never driven a car with it.

Um, no.  When that video was shot it was old-school IDA's.


I couldn't remember if it was IDAs or Dells. Still sounds killer.

I'm pretty sure it had 48 Dellortos when that video was shot.

I remember Mark saying they were 48 Dells at the 1999 classic when they were playing it in the DKP tent.

I one of his tech articles on the other forum he posted the specs on this motor stating it used Dellortos.
But that does'nt really matter does it. The video is awsome..
