1972 Ford LTD. Friend of mine had one of these many years ago. The battery died and we tried to push start it. Not going to happen.  Roll Eyes  But you could drive around with eight of your closest friends in it.

And lets not forget:

Boy the 70's were pretty wild.  Yes, there were a host of silly TV shows.  Didn't the sit-com come about in the 70's - All in the Family, others?

I remember as a kid watching some shows thinking they were awesome, only to see them later thinking "what did I see then that I don't see now?"

Remember some of these classics from Saturday night?

Emergency
Carol Burnett
Mary Tyler Moore
Bob Newhart
Hawaii Five-O

Sunday evening's always went like this:
    Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom
    Wonderful World of Disney
then off to bed...

Anyone remember the TV show "Movin' On" with Claude Akins?
OP shorts
Hang Ten shirts
Vans red/blue shoes
Fat watchbands and belts
Sandles made from car tires?
The energy crisis?
Gas in 1977 was $.75/gallon!
Carter's mess dealing with the Iranian hostages
The Olympics of '76

But how can we NOT talk about the music!?!  Some of the best rock came out during the 70's.   Cool

Emergency 51 was my favorite show when I was a kid.

Sheep had some of those tire sandals about 10 yr ago, from a trip to Mexico.

Let's see your Senior Ball pic, Frankie. Dressed in all white, pink backdrop, that 80's song "Send me an Angel" playing as the photo was snapped.

Sheep I dug up a photo from Senior Ball, and the girls you were sharing that limo and those Bartles & James with. You thought these chicks were hot?
