Give me your opinion on a tailight / brake / turn signal bulb the original one was a 1034 and no parts store has it available so I bought a 1157 which has the same double connection on the bottom and has the same small prons on the side. I have installed them on the car and everything work so far.

   Thanks

If it works fine, and it's covered up by a lens, who cares about the p/n. I think those p/n also change over the years and obviously can change with a different manufacture. You can always do a search on NOS 1034 bulb on EBay Smiley

Hi Frenchy The 1034 and 1157 are interchangeable I think the 1157 is a little brighter but there are no Problems using them 1034 bulbs came in the older cars and  most parts store just upgrade you to an 1157 bulb the only time an 1157 will give you any turbole is if you drive like an old ladie and ride the brake since the blub is brithter  it gets a little hotter and is you are on the brakes alot  the heat will melt your taillight lens  where the bulb sits behind it just dont drive like an old ladie and ride the brake and you will be fine  LOL hope this helps..

Only difference between a 1034 and a 1157 is that the 1157 is brighter on the brake circuit.
