its a proper stainless vw speedshop one... not a shite mondo  Cheesy
i LOVE the sound of them, really throaty (that was on a single carb 1600!) they must sound insane on a bug with ida's!!??
shame they hang so low...

but, can it be done?

Too big of an exhaust on that little motor will kill the bottom end, and with a little motor its all bottom end Wink

I'VE HAD A FLOWMASTER MUFFLER FROM A-1 ON MY CAR 40HP ENGINE FOR 8 YEARS NOW. RUNS SUPER SWEET.. AND BEFORE THAT HAD ONE ON MY OTHER CAR WITH A 1500 AND IT RAN FINE ALSO... RUNS BETTER THAN WITH A STOCK MUFFLER SYSTEM.. I EVEN HAVE A V.A. DIST.  NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER AND BOTH CARS WHERE DAILY DRIVERS

tried fitting a single QP, but it doesnt fit, the box just hits the valence...

i've got a glasspack fitted though!
