Sven-Olof Brorsson was kind enugh to send me another picture of the car in its EKG period... and I have updated the story with the info Udo Becker has given me...

I have an issue of the Swedish magaazine "Dragstrip" from the 70's where it is featured. A friend of mine has borrowed it but I wil try to get it back and scan it. It was from the "white" period.

Hi all

Thanks for all the pictures i got and the link of the video . I am very pleased for all infos i get about the car . It seems like this car never gets tired :-) , It is a race car since the 70's now and was raced nearly each year , with only some minor years of interruption . But please no replicar , the car is still alive . I think i can get it only a little faster while testing some engines but the weight of the car and suspension does not allow to make it much faster . May be some day i take a new race car and this little old car can get a smaller engine and his original colour :-) .

Yes it is a mantorp. I was there.

Udo, IF you have ideas to paint it original St Moritz Fashion, I might even chip in a contribution. Do IT!!
Do you have any idea how beautiful that paint was?
It was art. The depth and color coding, the graphics and the pearl in the sun was just something a picture will never show.
I was totally shocked when the guys top chopped it and let the paint go to "arts heaven". OK, it was all about getting it going faster but still.  Putting a grinder in to it must have felt like murder I imagine.
Now car was and is still cool.
For the time of  early eighties it was hightech and really well done.

Hi

It looked real nice in the original paint . The car came to germany in baby blue. But if you could see how i got it  Angry . It was very bad painted in black , the inside of the car i sandblasted to get the hand sprayed colour off . It was like a restoration for me to get a good new paint on it . At that time nobody knew something about the history , only that it came from sweden .... ! During the  years the car has got some history here in Germany since i own it . The main thing is that it is still alive and in good condition and in good hands Cheesy

This cant be true Frallan, I have talked with plenty of Swedes about snow white and I have a pretty good idea of where the parts of Snow white is now.
Also Snow white wasn't roof chopped.

Hazze might have called both the two cars Snow White but they are definitely two different.
1: St Moritz : Chopped without sunroof.
2: The one most people talk about as THE Snow White. Unchopped ragtop.

Car #2 was sold by Hans Lindholm to a guy named Johan in the late 80's. I was offered to buy it in the mid 90's and I looked at it in a tent in Sodertalje. A friend of mine bought some parts from it and I got the aluminium dash. The dash hangs on my garage wall as a memorabilia.
Later a guy called Dick bought it and raced it until 1999 when he sold it to Finland according to rumors.

I got carried away and I do not know why.
Now in sober condition of my brain I very well recall Snowwhite and seeing the aluminium front end shock towers broken after the wheelie.
St Moritz was never called Snowhite. Neither by Hazze or anyone else.
Sorry about that.

In fact when I think a little bit more I think Hazze never drove St Moritz during his ownership.
Price I remember. It was SEK 12 000. Rolling chassi with a not so hot gearbox.

One more story on the name. When I had the car, it was called by the original name from the guys prior to St Moritz. Häcken Hugo.In english....junkie  (double meaning in Swedish, also bum) car Hugo.
I think first time when I saw the car in Malmö 1976 it was in fact orange primered and not so beautiful.

It was fetured in the Swedish magazine "Dragstrip", chopped and in white. I have the magazine, but a friend borrowed it.

It was chopped by the original builders and owners.
Possibly the guy who had the link to the St Moritz fashion ski shop, had or pulled out in that region of time.
I am sober and it is early in the morning. Fact not fable......
