Personaly, I love this color, but I bought a 67 a month ago ... I have Gasburners, and I don't want to do same sedan than Xavier D.A.S.'s one.
So I try to find an other color but without succes !
If anybody have another "paintbox link" !

Hi Max,
owning a 67 is a good reason to paint it sepia brown! Why? Because Xaviers beetle is actually a very late modell, just converted – very professionell by my old buddy Michael Hess – into a 67 lookalike and Dirks beetle is a 67, but a 68 modell year. So it used to have the square bumbers and all these things but is also very correct converted into a "real" 67.
So yours would be the only
true
sepia brown 67!
But, to get more serious: Check the Porsche colors from the 70s, there are more very nice beige and brown shades!
Cheers,
Georg
BTW, what's your real name? Maxime?

Hi Maximilien,
"BTW" is short for "by the way"!
And regarding the colors: have you checked the VW colors? There are a lot of nice shades and many of them are not that common!
Cheers,
Georg

-i found that last year when i was looking for a colour for my car -but in the end i went back to a vw tone… also a very good site for seeing those colours:
http://www.356registry.org/
-just enter the name of the colour into the »search« input field

Magne – to be honest – that is never ever java green on Daves car. I saw the car six years ago at the Classic and the color is comletely different from Andis car – and that is definitely java green!
I just talked to Steve Beecher and he told me that his original paint '64 is dove grey, but there is no color as dove grey in the VW color charts. It must be fontana grey, that was available on beetles in '64. So never trust the (american) owner! Just kidding!
