Guys

Q1: apart from CB performance does anyone else stock these, i seem to think Empi did them as well ??

Q2: Do the bolt on to 48IDA manifolds ? as i cant seem to find manifolds for 51.5s ??

Any advise greatly appreaciated, cheers

The best ones to buy are the JayCee 51.5mm IDA's, I'm sure it was all over cal-look.com that the empi ones were crap! CB or Vee Dub parts and of course Jack himself are the only stockists as far as I know.

Shawn Geers may also do them(?) but I think his main carbs are the bigger Terminator II carbs..

I do the work too if you don't want to ship them so far . Main thing is that you cannot bore every 48 to 51,5 because of the progrssion hole of the idelescrew .
I use my own manlfolds for Type1 heads and CB's for superflows .

Its for the 3litre aprm motor i have, i need to check the heads to see that the manifolds i have are 48idas, if so Ill give you a call, please pm me your number, cheers

For your engine you need all done , bore for 51,5 , larger float chamber , bigger venturis , cut the auxiliary venturi and some good velocity stacks . I do diffenet versions , depends on engine size and needs . Most of the older carbs can not be bored to 51,5 only smaller .
