Danny, that was my car before Brian got ahold of it. I put the ragtop into it. I traded Brian for the 54' convertable. The 54 that had the hood and door damage (you fixed it) Glenn

Not the same car, there are no nostrils. My black ghia always had vents, but it was in DKK.

DANNY, THOSE PICS ARE BEFORE YOU PAINTED THE CAR. THE ONLY THING WE CHANGED FROM WHEN GLENN BUILT IT WAS WE DECHROMED THE BUMPERS AND PAINTED THEM ALONG WITH PAINTING THE COMPLETE CAR. HAVE PICS TO POST SOON.

I think for the last Bug-In we put together almost 50 cars. We wanted to make sure there was no-doubt that we would come home with the trophy.

Here are some pics of the KG before I traded it to Brian. He had Danny repaint it and did some other changes as well. I owned this car on two different occasions. I got it back from John Mamuscia (traded the 54' vert) after it had a pan off paint job. Then it was rearended, Santitni fixed it, driven once then stolen. F#@*en shame. (remember these were our everyday cars) The pan and shell carcas were foung by Schwimmer in a field by Aase Bros Porsche in Anaheim.I got $3,500.00 from insurance (Santini's repair bill was $4,500.00)

Got to miss those days at Auto Haus of Orange. Some of the best cars came out of that shop. Looked forward to see what cars and who was hanging out whenever I was going to give my pay check Cry for parts or just for advise. Thanks Dave! BP

Britax was the manufacturer and distributor. They are no longer in business.
