I'm not into watching those guys, but the saying in Norway is that every Norwegian is born with ski's on!  Roll Eyes
But the following of every winter sport is huge in Norway, both in real life and on TV.

I`m interested and I`m watching when I have the chance. I can confirm what JHU is saying - every Norwegian IS born with skis on. Of course the world longest ski jump does also belong to a Norwegian;

CRAZY!!

By the way - congrats with your second place this weekend. I went to Zakopane and enjoyed it except for the local vodka only mixed with lemon and honey and the smoked goat cheese. Oh - and Hotel Belvedere is a nice place, especially the sauna. Got to love mixed, naked saunas! But when are you going to tell your Polish ladies to start shaving?  Wink Cool

I was thinking that Ski Jumping was slang for either some sex act or something you guys do with cars!  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I didn't realize you actually meant Ski Jumping.

How many of you remember "Wide World of Sports?"
It was an American TV Show that each week would show some "lesser known" sports... during the opening credits, they had this film of someone ski jumping and massively crashing as the voice over was talking about "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat."
