Yank me, Crank me

Getting ready to pick up a crank for the 2276. Looking at either a DMS or DPR 82mm wedgmated w/ 411 center main or one of the 4340 ones that DRD or CB sells which have standard mains. (Also wedgmated.) Price difference is not enough to sway me either way, just thinking about quality and longevity. Thought I would get some folks input.
Thanks,

Louis, They are all probably good however my friend Steve Hollingsworth at VW Performance here in Phoenix prefers the DPR cranks. For welded cranks he says their quality is the best and their service is great as well.

Thanks for the input. There does not seem to be a real consensus. Well other than Berg makes the best though I don't think they are available any more.
edit: Berg just got back in touch and they don't have any in stock with no delivery date.

But don't wake me up to thank me...
Sometimes I start thinking I should trade my CB for a DMS or DPR, but in reality if it checks out good, there should be no worries. Lots of them are successfully running around in hot streeters.
They're such a good deal, I guess some times I think I didn't spend enough.

DPR for more reasons than I care to type!! Jose is a great guy, does great work, at an affordable price. He could charge much more than he does!

Yeah I think this is the thing. Those 4340 cranks everyone is selling are so cheap it makes you wonder.

Mike your crank is fine! Jacob's was still perfect after tons of miles, drag racing, and crazy Nopi burnout contests.

The cheap CB cranks are great bang for the buck, but you are stuck with what you get (>86mm/std/chevy/etc.)
If you want to go with something wacky with mega cc stroke, 411 center/rear/whatever, superlightweight/11/32 dowel pins, etc. then DPR is hard to beat.
Personal opinion- for cookie cutter motors, I'm a no-$$$ student (CB)
- for "other" projects, the craftsmanship of a hand made crank is phenomenal (DPR)
