Jim I understand why you want change wheels . I went by bugformance the other day and there were about 8 cars in the parking lot and every one of them had BRMs, even a superbeetle had 4 lug brms!!!!!
it seems you cant swing a dead cat with out hitting someone who has BRMs now days

...... Problem I had with the old Mangels I ran in the '80's and '90's was trying to find some that were true. I went through 7 or so trying to get some that were true, and that was out of the box.
What about starting with some genuine Porsche 356 wheels?

Jim, personally I wouldn't go for chromies. I'd have the flat silver ones, like Bruce said, genuine 356 wheels, or the repros that look more genuine! I'd also lose the bumpers for a while, or go for European ones with the small over-riders, just for a change.
