Both cars look great Dave!

I think I prefer the 911 with the fuchs better.

 Cool

Ive put about 100 miles on the ole black beast in the past week.  I can turn the boost down to about 7 lbs and put pump gas in her.  She is still a 11.90 car with the low boost and pump gas!   Cool
My nephew and I took it out in the country to take some pics on Monday.  I took the first and he took the second.  More to come later.
Hope Im not overdoing it with the pics, but I sure enjoy having the car on the road again.

Sweet car, Dave! I have always loved the look of a black '67. Where can I get a set of those flat center caps on the back? I have a set of old americans on my '68 Camaro and those would look pretty sharp on them.

Overdoing it? NO WAY! Afterall, this IS a Cal Look site, yes? I rest my case. Oh and please keep the pics coming. '66 & '67 Beetles are my favorite years... so I'm a trifle biased.

 Grin

Dig the decklid badge, too. I ran one of those in the early '80s on my '66.

Thanks Guys,
Redwagon, I made those myself, but it was a time consuming job.  I know that there is a company who makes them now.  I saw a story in Popular Hot Riodding where the editor put some on his project Chevelle about a year ago.  Do a search or perhaps conatc the PHR editorial office.

Mark, that badge is the original to the car.  This was  a German 1300 that was imported later in its life.

NICE! I like the late outside mirror and door handles. My European model Java Green '66 was like that, too. Does yours also have the no key/plain passenger side outside door handle, as well?

I really like the Americans but what I really want to see is the ERCO`s on the 911.

Ditto.  Then Dave, post those pics on the P board to ruffle their feathers. Cheesy
