Did many cars run these wheels back in the day?? Any pictures?? Only 5" wide... but boy howdy are they light!! Cool "pockets" around the lug holes too. I think Rich Kimball's late model convertible runs a set. Here is the one Ive got... Cant say Ive ever seen a car with them.

I have seen a few sets in aluminum for VW but not in mag. The wheels on Rich's super beetle are aluminum & the set on Ron's car were also. I have seen them in other 4 bolt patterns that were mag. Is your wheel VW pattern Zach? just curious  Bill

I Believe Race-Trim marketed their own brand of 8-spokes in Magnesium.
I'll scan the ad and post it when I get home.

Here is the ad.
Unfortunately, they are one piece wheels with the ugly black plastic center cap.
 Cry
I wonder if "Race-Trim" is actually cast into the wheel ?

I think Kinky Mick has a couple of mag ones and a couple of Al ones too. He's been looking to complete the sets for years.

I have seen the majority of these on English sports cars, Triumph TR6 ect. If you start looking in those circles you might be able to come up w/ the other 3. You can always get them to fit somehow. I think they are way cool wheels & not very common.

Thanks for the info Bill, looks like you're right. MG's used 4x4 1/2" pattern too, so I bet other Brit cars did too. I think I will clean and polish it up a little bit, then sell it off to someone who really needs/wants it...
