Found a 1984 antracite-grey Alfa GTV6 with 45,000 orig miles.... sounds like he's gonna go for it.
I've always loved the GTV6....so I'm excited.

The first five speed I ever drove was an Alfa back in 1965. Drove it all the way to Laguna Seca to watch the races. Also drove it home after that. It was owned by a buddy of mine, Bob Wilson who worked for Schneider Motors in Anaheim. Prior to that he owned a '59 VW white Covert which was a cool ride.
Today I went home at lunch and got the '63 out and drove it back to work. Lots of fun!!!!!!!

very nice car a friend of me had one. his dad owned a alfa garage and still had it. he also had a very nice red 155 that got totalled by a truck. a shame. that car looked great on the bigger 5star wheels. it had a very nice red.
here is my dads new ride. it is in the garage for a checkup, but it should be fairly good except a small rustbubble near the sunroof and the muffler.

My friends mum had one of those! She always had cool cars and thrashed the nuts off them
Shame I only get Alfa diesels, not quite the same noise as my old V6 164 Cloverleaf

Hy Jim,
My father rebuilt an Alfa GTV6 some years ago. He rebuilt this one with NOS parts only. Even the rare Ronal 5 bolts wheels are NOS, leather seat covers, air conditionner option, carpet and headliner, exhaust and many engine parts are NOS. The gear box was modified with an autolock system of Alfa 75 V6 3 liters. The engine is tune for more hp - but it is not visible ;-) This car is wonderfull and very cool to drive, lot's of power and thanks to the tune up engine, we drove it fast on the highway. The colour is metalic grey. I will try to shoot it tomorow and post some pics for you if you want ;-)
Unfortunatly, he wants to sell the GTV6, and I want to keep it

I wish! There's a dark blue one around here too, the weathers got better and some tasty cars are being dusted off. There's a mint 67 Mustang fastback which you can hear from a mile away, a couple of early 911's and a sweet 356

I've always loved the GTV6....so I'm excited.
I finally had time to take some photos of my father's 1983 GTV6 Alfa Romeo. 80% of the parts used for the restoration are NOS.
Unfortunalty, he wants to sell it as in 10 years, he only drives it for 2000 kilometers. It has many hard to find options like 5 nos ronal wheels, pioneers factory option radio, leather interior, air conditionning system. It's a real gem.
he also owned exactly the same car -maybe it is this one) and sold it to Norway some years ago :
If you measure more than 1,80meters, don't try to seat in the car ;-) it's a pain in the ass and you will have you knees on your mouth.

yeezzz. That one looks great. i allways liked the GTV 6. It sounds fantastic...inimitable. Most of them here in switzerland are rusted.
I also own several old Alfas. My favorite is a 72 Berlina. 4 doors, rare 2 liter engine. My buddy Ivo Salvatori, a italiencar specialist, bored the engine on 2.5 liter and put in some goodys. Now i have 225 ps on the rear wheels. i lowered the car and put on steelwheels in 8 X 15 inches. The car is hell of fun to drive / drift.
If U can buy a Doopystyle exhaust in the USA.....u should do that......it sounds absolutly fantastic. Its a great sound with the original exhaust but with the Doopystyle system U will be the ,,Italien Stallion,,

Hi guillaume!
Hey i wish i could upload some pics of my dad's new Alfa, but format too large and I am not smart enough to downsize them. Anyway, he found a REAL clean 1984 "Maratona" version (allegedly 150 made?).
I want to ask you, do you know of any of the Ronal A1's around? He has some cheesy aftermarket 5 spokes right now, and I want to find either a set of Verde 3.0L (75/Milano) Speedline or BWA....OR I'd really like to find the Ronals like in your pictures. Those have to be the best looking wheel avail ever for the Alfetta/GTV6
I know the Alfetta version was 4 lug and GTV6 is 5.
If you know of any please let me know! Thanks
I get to go drive it in 2 weeks after a good service.
